The Tour de Moore USCF Road Race is held each Spring, while each year the Tour de Moore Century ride is held on Labor Day.  And our last event of the year is the Sandhills Cyclocross race, part of the NC Cyclocross Series each fall.

Looking for non-racing events? If you are looking for non-racing event rides look up www.ncdot.org. At the bottom of the main page, lower right, click on Bicycle/Pedestrian for a calender of monthly events and rides. Plan out your year and set a training goal. Maybe your goal is to finish the Tour de Moore ride on Labor day, 28 mile, 50 mile or 103 mile. Start traing now and plan rides to prepare you for your goal in September!

New to Cycling? Visit Road ID's website for Rules of the Road. Click on their "Rules of the Road" bar on the left hand side of the page for a great review on how to be safe on the road and when riding with a group of riders.

For USCF sanctioned racing events visit Carolinas Cycling Association @ www.ncsccyclingassoc.com. On their website is the calender for all USCF scheduled races.

Track racing or training? Try Asheville Mellowdrome @ mellowdrome.com. This is a velodrome in Asheville, NC that has weekely racing and training times. Fixed gear bike required, 500 meter track with banking 4-8 degrees, a truly mellow velodrome.
